Thank you for a detailed presentation.
1. Is the diameter of the magnetic assembly fixed to 4mm, while [Wy] is changed from 0.15mm to 0.5mm? Or is [Dm] of the magnet fixed and the diameter of the magnetic assembly changed?
2. In clinical situation magnetic assembly is apt to horizontally deviated from the proper position because it is delivered in the oral cavity. And in case of extruding tooth root, magnetic attachment is sometimes used with the gap more than 0.1mm between the magnetic assembly and the keeper. So it would be helpful if you evaluate the experimental models supposing such kind of clinical situations.

Thank you for your questions.

Answer 1.
The diameter of the magnetic assembly is fixed. The magnetic attachments in practical use are usually optimized the internal structure(shape and size) to obtain a maximum performance under their original sizes. We evaluated the leakage magnetic fields of the cup yoke type magnetic attachment at the diameter of 4 mm. And so,the length of the yoke Wy is varied, the diameter of the magnet Dm is also changed.

Answer 2.
Thank you very much for your useful suggestions in the clinical use. We want to study such situations as the horizontally deviated and the gap more than 0.1 mm.

Thank you for your clear answers.
I hope you analyze the leakage regarding the Answer 2 and make another presentation at next opportunity.
