Cup yoke type (circular shape)magnetic assemblies were used in the immediate overdenture when the root capping was temporary copings with post keeper. (Fikg.8) When the temporary copings were replaced with the final copings with post keeper, the other type (sandwich type or elliptical shape) of magnetic assemblies were set to the overdenture. At first, We used magnetic attachment for immediate overdenture. As for the product for temporary use, there is only circular shape. However, root shape is elliptical type, so we changed magnetic attachment to oval shape.
